After wrapping up Postcards From Quarantine, I was burned out. But I was offered wall space at a friend’s business to display some work and instead of displaying any of the almost five hundred works that make up the previous series I decided to challenge myself. There was this two page spread I had cut out of an old National Geographic and I wanted to see if I could create a diptych using both halves of the foreground but images from two entirely different sources for the background.
